Card personalization is the process of applying variable data to a plastic card. For Teslin® laminated cards and keytags, laser imaging of bar codes and numbers is performed prior to lamination, sealing the data under the laminate for maximum durability. For PVC, styrene or other plastic cards, variable data is imaged on the outside surface of the card. StoneHouse uses CPST, Atlantic Zeiser and DataCard equipment for printing on the surface of plastic cards. These machines are also capable of encoding magnetic stripes and applying labels. Below are details of our capabilities for applying data to plastic cards.
